The standards that follow are the content standards recommended by the State of California and adopted by our district. What this tells you is what your child should have learned by the time he or she finished each grade. The standards do no limit what is taught in the classroom. Instead, they give guidance to the teacher and the parent so that it can be determined if a student is progressing satisfactorily.
