Lockdown Lifted at OCI, OES, and Wasuma

Oak Creek Intermediate, Oakhurst Elementary and Wasuma Families,

The lockdown at Oakhurst Intermediate (OCI), Oakhurst Elementary (OES), and Wasuma Elementary has been lifted.
Law enforcement has confirmed there is no active threat to any of our campuses at this time. The phoned-in threat that prompted today's lockdown is still under investigation.
To ensure continued safety and peace of mind, Sheriff's deputies will remain present and continue to monitor our school sites throughout the day.
If you wish to pick up your student early, please go to the front office of your child's school to check them out per usual protocol.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this situation. Student and staff safety remains our highest priority.
