Important Message Regarding Campus Safety

Dear Bass Lake School District Families,

We are aware of the recent situation involving a potential threat to the Yosemite High School campus. Please know that Bass Lake School District administration has been in close contact and is working collaboratively with Yosemite Unified School District administration regarding this matter. Law enforcement has thoroughly investigated the situation and determined the threat to be not credible.

We want to assure you that our campuses are safe, and our schools will continue as scheduled with normal operations. Out of an abundance of caution, there may be an increased law enforcement presence in the area.

We sincerely thank the Madera County Sheriff's Office for their swift response and ongoing partnership in ensuring the safety of our school communities.
